Our small private state-certified special education school in Stamford, CT, Pinnacle School is seeking an occupational therapist to join our staff of special education teachers and clinicians. In this unique position, you will assess, plan, organize and implement programs that help build/ restore daily living skills, as well as enhance general independence, for special needs students from grades 4-12 (e.g. autism, Aspergers). We provide a collaborative team-based approach to help each student reach his/her potential.

The Collaborative Center for Learning & Development (TCC), is an integrated practice for kids with unique learning profiles and/or learning differences. Our specialized tutoring and test prep ("Best of ..." Winner! 2016, 2017) is growing, and we have immediate needs for the following tutors:

  • Sped Certified Tutors K-12 for subject tutoring, executive functions coaching and standardized test prep (we will train you!)
  • High school tutors that have experience with diverse learners, differentiation, co-teaching, 504's and IEP's
  • Orton Gillingham certified reading specialists

Our high demand hours are weekdays between 2:30-6:30, and some weekends. Our center is located right off of Exit 6 on I-95, although tutoring may also take place in client's home.
