Front Desk/Admin Coordinator - Spire School (Full-time)

The Front Desk serves as the information referral center for all families, potential clients, staff, guests, and others visiting the school. S/he must be aware of all daily activities, administrative staff, and management company roles and responsibilities and direct or answer questions accordingly. In addition, the Front Desk Receptionist shall provide support for some computer processing duties as appropriate.

 Responsibilities:

  • ·  Gather teacher progress reports in preparation for PPTs.
  • ·  Create Sped files for new students and maintain current files (red folders). Return sped files to districts when students leave Spire.
  • ·  Schedule Pre-PPT meetings and quarterly IEP progress reporting meetings.
  • ·  Prepare quarterly IEP progress reports for mailing with report cards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 yrs. customer service experience in a small business or educational setting
  • Superb interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexible, resourceful, calm under pressure
  • Demonstrated customer service and multitasking experience in a busy environment
  • Computer literate
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Front Desk Associate - Links Academy (Full-time)

Links Academy is a school of individualized instruction that offers open enrollment for student-specific short and long-term academic and support programs. Link's students include those who have withdrawn from their current school, are on a leave of absence, are transitioning from one school to another, or are simply seeking a unique school experience. Link's is NEASC accredited and NCAA approved and awards students the opportunity to earn credits and complete coursework at an individualized level, pace, and schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • ·         Admission packet (learnspeed set up, pairing them in learnspeed, team emails, communication with teachers about new students, parent communication) None of this is done at the moment. 
  • ·         Tracking student work
  • ·         Daily attendance and communication with parents and staff
  • ·         Tracking student and daily interaction with student-present for all student and teacher needs.
  • ·         Ordering lunch, supplies and all POS
  • ·         Coverage when a teacher is out. 
  • ·         Communicating with all teachers when student is out. 
  • ·         Distant leaner-tracking all needs of student and teacher.
  • ·         Communication with Business office at all times. 
  • ·         Always available for teachers. 

Requirements:
