BOOM!: Social Skills Training
Students who struggle with social skills often suffer academically as a result. The confusion, frustration, and pain at not being accepted by one’s peer group can have far-reaching consequences—and stifle a child’s healthy emotional and intellectual development.
That’s where Greenwich Education Group and BOOM! can help. BOOM! is a unique program designed to help students successfully overcome social challenges. Through a customized mix of one-on-one instruction, followed by small group work with typical peers, our instructors—all of whom are either certified in ABA therapy approaches, speech and language remediation, or other methods of metacognitive development—employ research-proven techniques to help students read social cues and act upon them with consistently appropriate behavior.
If your child (pre-school to high-school age) could benefit from social skills intervention, please call us at 203.661.1609 to schedule an evaluation and learn more about our BOOM! approach to social skill development.
