Administrative Coordinator (Part-time (25 hours per week), 12 months, Day & Boarding School Advisory)

The Administrative Coordinator is a member of the Day and Boarding Advisory Team and is responsible for the organization and coordination of all educational consulting operations, procedures, and resources to ensure the office effectiveness and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be an experienced office administrator with superior organizational and time-management skills. Due to the nature of our business, this position may occasionally require evening or weekend work with clients, who are students and their families.


  • Manage client activities including conducting intakes, creating client bio/profiles, and supporting administrative activities for educational consultants;

  • Provide administrative assistance and project support to Executive Director for Educational Consulting operations, Greenwich Education Group related lines of business, and occasional personal tasks;

  • Maintain calendar and appointment information for the Executive Director and assist in scheduling work-related meetings;

  • Provide administrative assistance and project management support to Marketing for projects such as the Secondary School Fair;

  • Keep client lists up to date, as well as school visit lists, applications by school, Admissions Associates List of both day and boarding schools, and placement director list;

  • 3+ years related administrative experience as Executive/Personal Assistant supporting a senior manager, ideally within an educational environment;

  • Bachelor’s degree required;

  • Understanding of the private day and/or boarding school landscape strongly preferred;

The Executive Director/Clinical Director (Full-time, 12 months, Links Academy, The Collaborative Center & Academic Services)

The Executive Director/Clinical Director is responsible for the clinical and administrative oversight of three of the Greenwich Education Group (GEG) core programs:  Links AcademyThe Collaborative Center, and Academic Services. This position has P&L responsibility for all three programs as well as supervisory responsibility for the full-time staff and independent contractors who perform those operations. In addition, the Executive Director is also responsible for managing all external outreach programs within GEG, including educational services that are provided for adolescents at Silver Hill Hospital.

Under the direction of the Founder and Executive Director of the Greenwich Education Group (GEG), the individual who assumes this new position is responsible for:

  • Managing day-to-day and strategic operations, including full P&L responsibility, for all three programs;

  • Serving in a leadership position as a member of GEG’s Executive Committee Management team;

  • Collaborating with the leaders of each program to continually develop and enhance the program needs and facilities in accordance with requirements of school districts, private schools, and private pay students;

  • Overseeing student enrollment activities for all programs including intakes and program design;

  • Ensuring appropriate program development and the efficacy of the counseling, executive functioning (EF) coaching, and special education programs as needed;

  • Ensuring that students’ unique learning needs and developmental profiles are appropriately considered as a part of the process of creating of individualized academic and clinical programs;

  • Working closely with families, ensuring that parents appropriately participate in individual planning meetings;

  • Identifying and assessing program needs (academic, clinical, speech and language, counseling, etc.) on an ongoing basis;

  • Providing leadership and training to support individual teachers, clinicians etc., including regularly scheduled observations and feedback to individual team members;

  • Monitoring clinical quality through weekly staff supervision, evaluations, and assessments of learning and training needs;

  • Developing and fostering strong working relationships with school districts, practicing clinicians, advocates, attorneys, and leaders of other independent schools to increase awareness and student enrollment;

  • Coordinating and ensuring appropriate oversight for the educational services GEG provides for  external programs such as Silver Hill Hospital; developing outreach programs to similar organizations

  • Working closely with GEG Marketing to develop marketing plans, and to also ensure website, social media, and printed literature are current and accurate.

  • Maintaining knowledge of best practices relating to special education and current clinical trends or relevant issues, informing and educating staff as appropriate.

Requirements include:

  • Master’s Degree in Special Education, School Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline; experience working with students with learning differences and/or social-emotional needs impacting on education;

  • An advanced degree in Special Education or an 092 certification is preferred;

  • Direct experience with the Connecticut PPT process, IEP/504 plan implementation, and development and rating of academic and social-emotional goals;

  • A minimum of 8 years experience of Special Education teaching, school psychology, or counseling experience;

  • Previous experience running a clinical program highly desirable;

  • A keen understanding of the Fairfield County alternative educational landscape and strong relationships in Fairfield County school districts;  

  • Experience driving results as a team leader/manager;

  • Management experience, preferably including P&L responsibility, with demonstrated success in marketing and relationship building;

School Psychologist - Middle School, (Full-time, 11 months, The Pinnacle School)

The Pinnacle School in Stamford, Connecticut is seeking a full-time school psychologist to fill a position beginning in July 2019 or the start of the 2019-2020 School year. We are looking for a skilled, collaborative, dynamic individual with experience in individual and group counseling, social cognition, parent consultation, behavioral management strategies, and psychological testing.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Implement collaborative problem solving, cognitive behavioral techniques, and relational approaches during students’ weekly counseling sessions

  • Hold weekly 1:1 and/or group sessions with students for counseling, social-emotional check-ins, and social cognition

  • Administer and interpret cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments. Complete psychological test reports based on test data.

  • Create SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely) goals to monitor and track student progress

The Pinnacle School is offering an exciting opportunity for a full time Special Education Teacher to join our team!

The Pinnacle School (Pinnacle) is a private state approved special education day school for college bound students in grades 2 through 12 who are diagnosed with ASD, Social Pragmatic Language Disorder, and/or ADHD, CAPD, Language Based learning Disability or any other student for which the program is appropriate. Our students are both privately and district-placed.  You will work with a variety of students, in collaboration with our  dynamic team of special education teachers, speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, behaviorists, school counselors and clinicians.

 Instructional Planning, Teaching and Practices:

  • Plan, prepare and execute lesson plans; create lessons that support each student’s learning style and academic capabilities
